The roofing team was punctual, professional and skillful. My interaction with each person on the team was great. From the inital gentleman Corey, that came out to inspect, and share the process, the types of materials what the company would do, to the financial manager that assisted in that area if I chose to finance, and I did.

Before anyone asks why four (4) stars. The max I'll give a company is four (4). The fifth (5) stare is for an employee that we feel that goes up and beyond their duties. Back in Fall 2022, we reached out to Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts (CCRE) regarding a GAF shingle roof replacement. CCRE is one of the few companies authorized to install this type of roofing product. Throughout our experience with CCRE, we’ve found them to be excellent, from the sales representative to the site manager and everyone in between. Last week (January 22, 2026), CCRE followed up to check on the roof’s condition and confirm that we’re still satisfied with the product. This is the 1st time I’ve seen Pro-active customer service like this in the trades services.

Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts put the best GAF shingles on my roof in 2019 after the hurricanes (Timberline HD by GAF). I also paid for their best warranty called the GOLD WARRANTY, which is good for 50 years. This job was done six years ago, so the faulty installation of the drip edge should have been covered. They did not install the drip edge correctly, and they will not pay for the repairs that I had to have done, which came to $2,242.02. They nailed the drip edge into the molding and the facia, but it should have been nailed into what they call the decking or the underlayment. I watched a GAF video that showed that the nailing should have been other than what they did, but they would not pay for the repairs that I had ti have done and paid for already. I sent them several pictures of their faulty work and the repairs that are under way. They refused to give me any satisfaction. They said that they didn't do anything wrong, so I sent them a GAF video on how to install the drip edge, which showed that they installed it wrong. I spoke to GAF several times, but they assured me that it was not their fault, which I totally agree with. It was the installers - Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau of North Carolina to file a complaint with them. We paid good money for their GOLD WARRANTY, but it was a waste of money, because they would not honor it, even after they told me that THE WARRANTY DID COVER "MATERIAL AND INSTALLATION." I paid $16,638 for this roofing job back in 2019. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY. I tried to call the telephone numbers at the top of our contract with them; two of them were disconnected and the other one was a car dealer in Toronto, Canada! GOOD LUCK!

From Michelle on the phone to Scott that came out and Craig that made sure it all went smooth and to the four guys that came out, I have to say that this company, although a bit more pricey than some, do exceptional work and the service is outstanding. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and friendly. Any question I had was answered promptly and with more knowledge than was needed. The roofers had mine done in one day and when they finished, there wasn’t even a nail on the ground. My roof looks great and these guys and gals made the process very simple. Thanks for all you all do there.

My 85 year old mother was scammed by a roofing company. Coastal Carolina came, gave us a free estimate, and completed in just a few days. They were honest and everyone from this company is courteous and caring. The roof was in really bad shape so they had to replace all the wood before putting the roof on. Several times the day of the install, Doug came by to check on the work and touch base with us. I can't imagine working with a better company. Thanks to everyone for your help and for being so considerate to my mother.
