We thought our 18 year old roof (50 year shingles) just needed minor repairs but the shingle has not been produced since 2011 so exact replacement was impossible. We got several quotes from contractors and Fortitude came in slightly above the median for a full replacement but we felt they were likely to do a superior job and they had a close match for the original shingle (important to avoid POA issues). They did a full "Fortified" roof replacement including the replacement of 6 original skylights (still good but past typical lifespans). Our home is 4700 sq ft, and I expected a 2-3 day process, but was assured that they would be done in less than 2 days including cleanup. They brought 29 workers on day one and finished removal of old shingles, replacement of skylights and most roof shingles. There were hidden problems requiring 9 unexpected sheets of plywood which cost extra, but that was disclosed before the job). On the second day, they completed the remaining details and a fantastic cleanup. Our neighbors were amazed! The process was very professional from Cameron who handled the estimates and preproduction aspects (and on-site visit time when Devon had to leave), Devon who was our on-site supervisor most of the time (very helpful throughout). Jacob never appeared at the job (that I noticed), but I believe he was responsible for scheduling and materials details and any questions we had before the job was started. Everything went more smoothly than we expected. Our home is about a mile from the ocean and we have had several really major rain events over the years including hurricanes. Nothing had damaged the original roof in a way that it was really visible. We are glad we had the work done.

The guys at Fortitude. led on site by Deven, were extremely professional in their approach to my new roof. They worked tirelessly and my new roof is the envy of the neighborhood now. From project planning to final execution communications were honest and accurate. They left at the end of the day and you wouldn't know they were even here. Not a trace left behind. From the initial sales presentation with Cameron to the prep work and through the whole process of the fortified roof installation, my experience was Five Star Plus. Project manager Deven, was in contact with me the day before job, at 6:45 day of and throughout the day. He kept me aprised of the process, progress, any changes as the day went on. He was well informed and used his expertise and photos to inform me. He coordinated the flow of the installation and his team of 17 men. The roof was finished ahead of schedule. The team worked well together to clean up every little tidbit from nails to tar paper to shingles and anything else they could find so that they would leave no Trace. Just like Boy Scouts. Cameron Cook, as promised, came out today to followup and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I would strongly recommend FORTITUDE ROOFING COMPANY to anyone who wants to improve the quality of their home with a fine fortified roof.

Noticed we had a leak coming from the furnace exhaust pipe on the roof. There was incoming bad weather and we were very concerned about it becoming a larger issue. Spoke with Alex and sent a few pictures. Alex was open and honest about what he thought needed to be done and when he could come do it. He stayed in touch and arrived when he said he would (a bit early-calling to check if ok). Alex was able to seal the pipes and checked a few other spots on the roof as well. He was courteous and provided pictures of his work. Would recommend highly. Fortitude just reroofed my house and did a great job. Everyone I dealt with was very good but especially Cameron who did the initial inspection and was extremely knowledgeable, and Devon who was the project manager on the job who kept me well informed every step of the way. They were both awesome! And they left my property clean and neat. I highly recommend them all!
