Freedom Fountain Observance — November 6
Jacksonville's annual Freedom Fountain Observance is Friday, November 6, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Freedom Fountain, at the corner of Johnson Boulevard and New Bridge Street in downtown Jacksonville. It's part of the Veterans Tribute NC series of events this month.
The observance honors those who pass through Onslow County in service to the country. The fountain marks the start of Freedom Way, the route many Marines and Sailors take from the bases here to Morehead City when they deploy.
Event details from the City of Jacksonville calendar and Freedom Fountain page (jacksonvillenc.gov), checked October 27, 2026. Times can change, so confirm with the organizer before you go.
