Today was my first time getting a haircut at this barber shop. Big shoutout to Amber! I asked for a medium regulation military haircut, the fade she cut was seamless. She was polite and professional. The atmosphere in the shop had a good vibe, and the entire staff was friendly and also professional. I highly recommend Amber for your next haircut!

When the barber asked what cut I wanted, I told him I wanted a 6 on the top to even it out, then a medium drop fade in the back. I assumed since he asked if I wanted a six guard against or with the grain, he understood what I asked for. He started with the sides, which was odd seeing most barbers start with trimming the top, but I chalked it up to this being a different barber. He then proceeded to cut the back of my head pretty high, which I then asked, "You are giving me a drop fade right?" He said "Yes", but it didn't feel right. It felt like he was giving me a high and tight. The sides even felt higher than usual. I asked again, "You're giving me a medium fade right?" He answered "Yes". I thought I was tripping, so I quieted down the rest of the cut until I saw the final result: He gave me a high and tight. I told him that's not what I asked for and he said it was. I have gotten a medium drop fade for the past year and seeing I get my haircut every week, I know what it looked and felt like. He didn't satisfy neither. I decided to pay him seeing he cut my hair after all. With me being military, the cut was $22. I withdrew $20 and had a $10 added to it. I paid him $30 and he proceeded to do the next cut. I asked if I could get change and he said that the cut was $30 because I got a line-up. I looked at the price board and it didn't mention any line-up surcharge. Overall, I'm not coming here again. If you need a quick regulation cut, this is definitely the spot. I give it 3 stars because I feel like this was a reflection of the barber himself, not the barbershop, but it's crazy how this dude gaslit me into a high and tight.

Booking is made easy and cuts are always reliable. I’ve been going to Amber every week for the past 6 months and can always appreciate the attention to detail she gives. The prices are fair and the service is thorough. Recommend to anyone new to the area or looking for a new barbershop.

I've been with Alex for the last few months, and she has done nothing but fantastic work since I started having her be my barber. I was bouncing around Jacksonville looking for a steady barber for a little over 2½ years and couldn't find anyone who could cut my hair right until I sat in her chair. She's bubbly, kind, a fantastic conversationalist, and incredibly professional all at the same time. I've even followed her from a couple shops because of how good her work is. Thank you so much for all the amazing work you've done on my hair, Alex. When I move away, I'll probably still be making trips here to get my haircut.

I cannot recommend Amber enough. I’ve been bouncing around different shops for years, never quite finding the right fit, but Amber is hands down the best barber I have been to in over 10 years. She didn't just rush through the cut; she actually took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered great advice on what would work best for my hair type. The attention to detail was incredible—the fade is seamless, and the lines are super crisp. You can tell she takes real pride in her craft.
